Blank Transcript no 810 Freeze - What to Expect with Return Verification vs Identity Verification
Just wanted to share my experience with blank transcripts. If your transcript is empty and you dont see an 810 freeze code after about a week, you'll probably need to verify your return. Its actually not the worst thing - the verification itself only takes like 10 mins but heads up youll need to wait for a letter in the mail first. After verifying expect another 1-2 weeks for processing. Just remember verifying your return is WAY different than identity verification which takes way longer.

Once you verify, the processing timeline is generally 9-14 business days. Identity verification (Letter 5071C) is indeed a longer process, often taking 4-6 weeks after verification.
