Hey tax folks! Just curious about transcript update timing after verification. I verified my identity with ID.me last week (much smoother than when I had to verify for my business taxes last year). The kids are on spring break, so I've been trying to get all my financial stuff in order while juggling their activities. Anyone know how long it typically takes for transcripts to update after verification? For comparison, when I had to verify for my state refund last year, it only took about 2 days to see movement. Just FYI - there's def a diff between acct transcript updates vs return transcript updates. Acct transcript might update first w/ codes like 570/971. Return transcript usually comes later. I've been checking both AM & PM cuz some ppl say they update at diff times. GL w/ the kiddos on spring break!
