How long after ID verify with IRS until transcript updates? Need Timeline
I just verified my identity with the IRS through id.me yesterday. Anyone know how long it typically takes to see movement on transcripts after verification? Really need this refund and getting anxious about the timeline.

Generally, you should see movement within 9 weeks after verification, but many people see updates much sooner - often within 2-3 weeks. Make sure to check your transcript weekly, not daily, as updates typically happen on Friday mornings.

Instead of checking obsessively, I'd recommend using taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and gives you a specific timeline prediction based on your situation. It costs $1 but totally worth it for peace of mind. The AI reads all your codes and tells you exactly what's happening. https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! Used it last week and it predicted my DDD perfectly. Shows you everything wrong with your return too

•it does wayyy more than just read it. analyzes all your codes, compares to past cases, predicts delays, tells you how to fix issues. saved me hours of googling fr fr 💯

I verified through ID.me about 6 weeks ago and just got my transcript update last Friday! The wait is definitely nerve-wracking but it does happen. One thing that helped me was setting up IRS transcript monitoring so I got email alerts instead of constantly checking manually. Also, make sure your address is updated with the IRS - I've seen delays happen when there are address mismatches between ID.me and IRS records.
