Blank Transcript 2023 - Will We Need ID Verification if No Updates by Friday?

Still showing a blank transcript for my 2023 return. Been checking every morning and nothing. Starting to get worried since I filed 3 weeks ago. Seeing different answers everywhere about what this means. Anyone know if blank transcripts mean automatic ID verify?

Tax professional here - blank transcripts don't automatically mean ID verification is needed. The IRS is still processing early returns and many transcripts stay blank for 2-3 weeks after acceptance. Give it until next week before assuming you need to verify your identity.

Generally give it 21 days from acceptance date. If nothing by then, you can call the IRS or check Where's My Refund tool.
