Filed 1/31 but transcript still empty - no updates showing
I filed electronically on January 31st and my transcript is still completely blank. When I log into the IRS website there's literally nothing showing up for 2023. Its been 2 weeks already and im getting worried. Anyone else experiencing this or know whats going on?

This is actually normal for early filers. The IRS doesn't begin processing returns until late January, and transcripts typically take 2-3 weeks to update after processing begins. If you claimed EITC or CTC, there's an additional holding period. Keep checking weekly, you should see movement by end of February.

Instead of checking obsessively every day, I'd recommend using taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Only costs $1 and saves so much stress. https://taxr.ai

•100% legit. I was skeptical too but it literally saved my sanity last year. It spots patterns I would never notice

Check if your return was actually accepted by your tax preparer. Sometimes there's a gap between submission and acceptance
