Filed 1/23, still no transcript updates - cycle code 05 no movement
Filed my taxes on January 23rd and still seeing absolutely nothing on my transcript. Its completely blank with no updates whatsoever. Been checking every week and nothing changes. Usually I'm cycle 05 based on previous years but starting to get worried about whats going on.

This isn't uncommon for early filers this year. The IRS is processing returns in batches, and cycle 05 typically updates Thursday nights/Friday mornings. Keep checking your transcript weekly. If you don't see any movement by mid-March, you might want to verify your identity through ID.me if you haven't already.

Did you claim EIC or ACTC? Those credits usually delay processing until mid-Feb at the earliest due to PATH act.
