If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

IRS Received Verification of Non-Filing Request for My 2024 Taxes on Feb 7, 2025 - Should I Be Concerned About Identity Theft?

I just checked my transcripts and received a concerning verification notice from the IRS about my 2024 taxes. According to the letter dated February 07, 2025, they received a request for verification of non-filing of a tax return for the December 2024 tax period (1040_SERIES). The letter states explicitly that "As of the date of this letter, we have no record of a processed tax return for the tax period listed above." Here's the full text from the notice I received: "Tax Period: December, 2024 Return: 1040_SERIES Information About the Request We Received On February 08, 2025, we received a request for verification of non-filing of a tax return. As of the date of this letter, we have no record of a processed tax return for the tax period listed above. If you have any questions, you can call 800-829-1040." Does anyone know what this verification of non-filing request means and if I need to take action? Why would someone be requesting verification of my non-filing status? The contact number provided is 800-829-1040 for questions, but I wanted to check here first to understand what I'm dealing with. The thing that's particularly confusing is that they received this verification request on February 08, 2025. How can someone be requesting verification for 2024 taxes already when the filing deadline isn't until April? Should I be concerned that someone is making inquiries about my tax filing status? Is this some kind of identity theft attempt? I'm worried because there's some text at the top of the notice that seems to be about potential loss or property, though part of it is cut off or unclear. There's also something that appears to say "AMENDED" and "PROGRAM INSPLANED" but I can't make out the full context.

Stuck on "Received" Status - IRS2Go Shows PATH Act Delay for EITC/ACTC Refund Until Mid-February

Filed my taxes and got the PATH Act message on IRS2Go. When I check the app, it shows my return is "Received" but nothing else - the "Approved" and "Sent" statuses are still empty. The app specifically tells me "The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act says that if you claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS cannot issue the refund before mid-February. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits. You can check the status of your refund on Where's My Refund starting in mid- to late February. The website is updated once a day and is the best way to check the status of your refund." Here's the exact screen I'm seeing on the IRS2Go app: Refund Status Return Refund Received Refund Approved [empty] Refund Sent [empty] The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act says that if you claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS cannot issue the refund before mid-February. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits. You can check the status of your refund on Where's My Refund starting in mid- to late February. The website is updated once a day and is the best way to check the status of your refund. Please read the following information related to your tax situation: Tax Topic 152, Refund Information Please Note: For refund information, please continue to check here, or visit the Refunds page on IRS.gov. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day. I filed as Single status. The app shows my filing status correctly. Every day I check the app hoping to see some progress, but it's still just showing "Received" with the same PATH Act message. I'm really starting to get worried since bills are piling up and I really need this money. Is anyone else stuck waiting because of EITC/Child Tax Credit delays? The app keeps saying "Please Note: For refund information, please continue to check here, or visit the Refunds page on IRS.gov. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day" but seeing that same message day after day is making me anxious. I've tried checking at different times of the day, even at 10:15 when the screenshot was taken, but no change. The app has all the tabs at the bottom (Refunds, Payments, Free Tax Help, Connect) but I keep obsessively checking just the Refund Status section. Anyone else in the same boat or have advice on when I might actually see some movement?
