Filed 1/31 - Transcript Still Blank After 2 Weeks. Anyone Else?

Filed my taxes on January 31st and my transcript is still completely blank. Been checking WMR and transcript daily but nothing is showing up yet. Starting to get worried since I need this refund badly. Anyone else file around the same time experiencing this?

Tax professional here - this is actually pretty normal for early filers. The IRS typically takes 2-3 weeks to even begin processing early returns. Your transcript will remain blank until the IRS officially accepts and begins processing your return. Keep in mind path act delays could affect this timeline if you're claiming EITC or ACTC.

Thanks for explaining! Do you know when they usually start accepting PATH act returns?

Mid-February is typically when PATH act returns start moving. Looking at around February 15th this year.

Hey guys just wanted to share something that helped me - I used taxr.ai to analyze my transcript (costs $1) and it gave me a super detailed breakdown of exactly what was happening and when to expect movement. Way better than trying to decode all these codes ourselves! https://taxr.ai
