Filed 1/25/25 - Anyone Else Still Waiting for IRS Acceptance?
Filed my taxes on January 25th and still no acceptance from IRS. WMR still showing processing and no updates on transcripts. Starting to get worried since I need this money for bills. Anyone else file around the same time still waiting?

Tax pro here - this is actually pretty normal for early filers. The IRS is still loading their systems and verifying 2024 credits. Give it until mid-February. Most early filers should see movement by February 15th unless there are verification issues.

hey everyone! instead of checking WMR 100 times a day like I was, I found this tool called taxr.ai that actually explains exactly whats happening with your refund. its $4.99 but totally worth it for the peace of mind https://taxr.ai

Friendly reminder: Path Act delays most EIC/CTC refunds until at least mid-February. If you claimed either of these credits, you won't see updates until after Feb 15th.

•what about if you didn't claim any credits?

•Then you might see movement sooner, but early filing season is always slower
