Filed 2023 taxes on 1/20 - Any clue on refund timeline?
Filed my taxes on January 20th and still nothing. WMR shows received but no dates yet. Anyone else file around the same time? Getting anxious about when the refund will hit my account.

For returns filed on 1/20, the IRS typically processes these within 21 days unless there are any verification holds or review flags. Since you're getting the received message on WMR, that's a good sign. Keep checking your transcripts weekly for any updates or changes in cycle codes.

•Thanks! Do you know if having EIC would slow things down?

•Yes, EIC claims typically have a mandatory review period. The IRS can't release those refunds before mid-February by law.

Hey, I highly recommend checking out taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly where your refund is in the process and when you can expect it. It costs $1 but totally worth it vs trying to decode everything yourself. https://taxr.ai

•Does it actually work? Seems too good to be true 🤔

•Yeah its legit! Just used it yesterday and it predicted my DDD down to the exact date. Way better than guessing.
