Transcript shows 'No Return Filed' after IRS accepted return on 1/31 - What's going on?
Filed my taxes on January 31st and got the acceptance email from the IRS but when I check my transcript it says no return filed. Starting to panic because I need this refund. Anyone else experiencing this or know what's happening? Been checking WMR and transcript daily but nothing is updating.

This is actually pretty common early in the filing season. The acceptance just means they received your return, but it hasn't been processed into their system yet. Give it about 7-10 business days for the transcript to update. If you filed with earned income credit or child tax credit, it might take longer because of the PATH act verification requirements.

Hey instead of stressing yourself out checking WMR and transcripts everyday, try taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect your refund. Its only $1 and saved me so much anxiety. https://taxr.ai

•Yeah its legit! It looks at all your codes and tells you if theres any issues or delays. Better than trying to decode everything yourself

Did you file with a tax preparer or do it yourself? Sometimes that makes a difference in processing time
