WMR shows accepted but transcript says no return filed - Turbo Tax 2023 return
I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax and WMR shows accepted, but when I look at my transcripts it says no tax return filed. Been checking for weeks now and nothing has changed. Anyone else seeing this? Never had this happen before and im starting to get worried.

This is actually pretty common right now. The WMR showing accepted means the IRS received your return, but processing hasn't started yet. The transcript won't update until they actually begin processing your return. Give it about 2-3 more weeks before getting concerned.

Instead of checking WMR and transcripts everyday and trying to piece together whats happening, I started using taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on and when to expect your refund. Its only $1 and saved me so much stress https://taxr.ai

•Yes! Its scary accurate. It looks at all your codes and tells you exactly whats happening. Even predicts refund dates based on your specific situation

Check your Turbo Tax account to make sure it actually transmitted successfully. Sometimes there can be a glitch where it says accepted but didn't actually go through.

Did you claim EIC or CTC? Those returns take longer to process and might explain the delay

Same thing happened to me last year! The disconnect between WMR and transcripts is super confusing but totally normal. WMR updates first when they receive your return, but transcripts don't populate until they actually start processing it. I'd say give it another week or two - processing times have been all over the place this season. You're not alone in this!
