2024 Transcripts showing 'No Return Filed' after accepted 2/7 - anyone else?
I filed on Feb 4th and my return was accepted on Feb 7th but when I check my transcripts it still shows no record of return filed. Been checking WMR daily and nothing. Starting to get worried since its been almost a month now. Anyone else dealing with this or know whats going on?

This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS is experiencing significant delays in processing returns. Even though your return was 'accepted,' that only means they received it - not that processing has begun. Keep checking your transcript weekly, not daily. You should see movement within 4-6 weeks from your filing date.

•100% works! It showed me I had a minor info mismatch that was holding things up. Fixed it and got my refund 2 weeks later

Try calling the IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040. Sometimes they can see stuff that doesnt show up on the transcripts yet.

The IRS is severely understaffed and dealing with millions of returns. Here's what you need to know: - Acceptance just means they got your return - Processing can take 21 days minimum - If you claimed certain credits, it could take longer - System updates happen weekly, usually overnight Wednesday - Use taxr.ai to get specific insights about your transcript (saved me so much stress) Dont panic if you dont see anything yet. The system is working, just slowly.
