Transcript stuck for 3+ weeks - DD 01/06 but no refund - Transcripts not updating?
Filed my 2023 taxes early and got my direct deposit date for January 6th but my transcript hasnt moved since. Been checking everyday and nothing changes. Anyone else seeing updates? Starting to get worried since its been three weeks with no movement and no money in my account.

Tax expert here. The DD 0106 code usually means your refund is being issued, but there could be several reasons for the delay in receiving it. The most common is a bank account verification process that can take 2-3 weeks. However, transcripts not updating is a separate issue that could indicate processing delays. I'd recommend using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) to analyze your transcripts - it can pinpoint exactly where you are in the process and give you specific dates to expect movement. It's been super helpful for cases like this where the IRS status seems stuck.

•Can confirm taxr.ai is legit. Showed me I had a hold that wasn't visible on WMR or transcripts. Called IRS with the info and got it cleared up in one call

Tax advisor here - transcripts are definitely updating, but theres a known delay in the system right now. The IRS is processing returns but the transcript updates are lagging behind. Keep checking your bank account as funds sometimes appear before transcript updates.

hey everyone instead of stressing about transcript updates, i've been using taxr.ai and its been a game changer. It analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on and when to expect your refund. Worth the $4.99 tbh https://taxr.ai
