DDD 1/22 but no deposit yet - TurboTax filer with correct bank info still waiting

Got my transcript updated with a deposit date of January 22nd but still no money in my account. Double checked all my banking info in TurboTax and everything is correct. Starting to get worried since bills are due soon. Anyone else stuck in this situation?

Tax expert here - seeing this issue quite a bit lately with DDD 1/22 filers. The IRS system shows your deposit date but sometimes banks take 1-2 extra business days to process, especially if you filed through TurboTax. Double check that your routing/account numbers are correct on your return. To really understand what's going on with your refund and get detailed timeline estimates, I'd recommend using https://taxr.ai - it analyzes your tax docs and transcripts to give you specific insights about delays and expected deposit timing. Way better than trying to decode the WMR tool or calling the IRS.

How exactly does taxr.ai work? Does it just read transcripts or what?

It analyzes literally any tax document - returns, transcripts, W2s, notices, etc. Uses AI to break down exactly whats happening with your refund and when to expect it. Super detailed

just tried taxr.ai and here's what I got back: looks like my bank is doing a standard 24-48hr hold on the deposit since it's from the IRS. Should hit my account by Thursday latest.

Tax professional here. This is actually pretty common right after the deposit date. Banks can hold funds for 1-3 business days after receiving them from the IRS. If you don't see anything by Friday, contact your bank first, then call the IRS if needed.

hey everyone! instead of playing the waiting game, I highly recommend checking out taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening with your refund. costs $4.99 but worth every penny imo. helped me understand my delay last week https://taxr.ai

sounds interesting. does it actually work? kinda skeptical of these types of services

totally get the skepticism! but yeah it works amazing. shows you everything from processing delays to potential flags. way better than trying to decode transcript codes yourself

Did you file through TT with fees taken out of refund? That usually adds an extra day or two
