IRS Transcript shows refund issued 12/30 but no deposit - anyone else?
My transcript updated and shows refund issued for 12/30 but nothing has hit my bank account yet. Starting to get worried since its been a few days. Anyone else dealing with this or know how long it usually takes after the issued date?

Hey there, I can help explain what's going on. When your transcript shows code 846 'refund issued' but you haven't received the deposit, there's usually a few possibilities: 1) It can take 2-5 business days for the money to hit your account after the issued date 2) There might be an issue with your bank info 3) The refund could have been offset for past debts. I'd recommend checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it's this new AI tool that can analyze your transcript and tell you exactly what's happening with your refund and when you should expect it. I've seen it help a ton of people in similar situations figure out why their deposits are delayed.

Tax professional here - typically it takes 3-5 business days after the issued date for the refund to hit your account. Since 12/30 was during the holiday period, you might see a slight delay. If you don't receive it by end of this week, I'd recommend calling your bank first, then the IRS if needed.

You should try taxr.ai - saved me so much stress when I was in your situation. For $4.99 it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect the deposit. Way better than guessing or waiting on hold with the IRS for hours https://taxr.ai

Mine took exactly 4 business days after the issued date showed up. The IRS is slower than Internet Explorer fr
