2025 Return Filed Feb 3rd - No Transcript Update Yet - How Long Is Normal?
Filed my taxes on February 3rd but when I check my transcript online it still shows nothing. Getting worried since I need this money. Anyone know how long it usually takes for transcripts to update? First time checking transcripts so idk if this is normal.

Transcripts typically update weekly, usually on Fridays. For 2025 returns, the IRS is currently showing 21-day average processing time for e-filed returns. If you filed Feb 3rd, you should see transcript updates by Feb 24th at the latest. Keep in mind that 'Where's My Refund' tool might show info before your transcript updates.

Don't panic! February 3rd was only 6 days ago, so you're still well within the normal timeframe. The IRS typically processes e-filed returns within 21 days, and transcripts usually update on Friday mornings. Since you filed on a Monday, your return is probably still in the queue for processing. I'd give it until at least February 21st before getting concerned. The transcript lag is totally normal - sometimes the "Where's My Refund" tool updates before transcripts do anyway.
