2024 Return & Wage transcript visible but no Account transcript - what's normal?
Filed my 2024 taxes and can see the return transcript and wage/income transcript in my account but theres still no account transcript showing up. Is this normal? When should I expect to see it? Getting worried cause I need my refund.

The situation your describing is totally normal for this time of year. When you see your wage transcript but no account transcript yet, it means the IRS has received your W2 info but hasn't started processing your return. This is super common in January/February when returns are just starting to be accepted. I'd recommend checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it's this new tool that can analyze your transcripts and tell you exactly what stage your return is at and when you can expect movement. It's been really helpful for people trying to track their refund status.

Tax pro here - this is completely normal for early filers. Account transcripts typically show up 1-2 weeks after acceptance. The system is still processing your return and creating the account record. As long as you can see your return transcript, you're in good shape.

Hey guys, instead of constantly refreshing transcripts and trying to decode them, I've been using taxr.ai - it's only $1 and gives you a complete breakdown of your transcript status and estimated refund date. Super helpful for understanding what's actually going on! https://taxr.ai

โขYeah it's legit! It uses AI to analyze everything in your transcript and explains it in normal human language lol. Shows all important dates and flags any potential issues.

Anybody know if its different for people claiming EIC?

โขEIC claims usually take a bit longer due to additional verification, but transcript timeline is about the same

Been dealing with the same thing since I filed on 1/30! Super frustrating when you're waiting on that refund. From what I've learned lurking here, it seems like the account transcript showing up is basically the IRS saying "yep, we're officially processing your return now." The wage transcript appearing first just means they've matched your W2s to your return, which is a good sign. Hang tight - sounds like most people are seeing their account transcripts pop up within 2 weeks of filing based on the comments here.
