Cycle Code 05 & PATH Act - When exactly does the PATH hold get lifted?
I'm getting totally mixed messages about my refund. My transcript shows cycle code 05 and I'm on PATH hold. Everyone keeps saying different dates for when PATH gets lifted. Can someone who actually knows give me a straight answer? I'm going crazy checking WMR every hour!

How long does IRS refund review process take? Still waiting after 2 months
Filed my taxes 2 months ago and my Where's My Refund tool still says processing. Called the IRS multiple times but cant get through to anyone. Anyone know typical timeframes for review? Starting to get worried since I need this money for bills.

Yeah claimed EITC this year for first time
that explains it then. EITC claims automatically get extra review. could take 120 days or more
VA State Tax Return Filed 1/31 - Direct Deposit Received 2/12 (Timeline Data Point)
Just wanted to share my Virginia state return timeline as a datapoint for others. Filed and accepted on January 31st, got my direct deposit today February 12th. About a 2 week turnaround time for anyone wondering how long VA is taking this year.

Blank Transcript 2023 - Will We Need ID Verification if No Updates by Friday?
Still showing a blank transcript for my 2023 return. Been checking every morning and nothing. Starting to get worried since I filed 3 weeks ago. Seeing different answers everywhere about what this means. Anyone know if blank transcripts mean automatic ID verify?

Has anyone used ACE Cash Express for their tax refund? They claim to give deposits 5 days early but I'm still waiting. Starting to get worried since its been 2 days already and nothing in my account. Anyone else have experience with them?
