DMV Login Error: Driver's License Number Already Assigned to Account After Email Update
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble logging into my account with my driver's license number. It keeps saying the number is already assigned to another account, but I don't have any other accounts. I recently updated my email address, so I'm wondering if that might be causing the issue. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any advice on how to fix it?

I found a way to solve driver's license login issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJJhjEGuGoQ

Ugh, I had the same issue last month. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling customer service? They might be able to help you sort it out.

•I've been trying to call them all day, but the wait times are insane. 😫 Did you manage to get through to someone?

•Yeah, it took forever. I was on hold for like 2 hours. But they eventually fixed it for me. Hang in there!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. The wait times are usually shorter then.

This happened to me too! Turns out my old email was still linked to my account even though I thought I had updated it. Here's what I did to fix it: 1. Log out of your account completely 2. Try to create a new account with your current email 3. If it says your license is already in use, request a password reset 4. This should send a reset link to your old email 5. Once you're in, update all your info Hope this helps!

•This is solid advice. I work in IT and can confirm this often solves the issue. 👍

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but it actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•20 bucks tho? 😬 That's steep just to talk to someone...

•I get it, but for me, it was worth not wasting an entire day on hold. Time is money, ya know?

have you tried turning it off and on again? 🤣

This is why I always keep a record of my old emails and accounts. You never know when you might need them. Maybe try logging in with your old email?

Ugh, their system is such a mess. I've been dealing with issues for months now. It's like they're stuck in the stone age or something.

•Preach! 🙌 I swear they're using computers from the 90s or somethin

•Cut them some slack. They're dealing with millions of accounts. It's not easy to manage all that data.

Have you checked if your license is expired? Sometimes that can cause login issues.

•Just checked, it's still valid. Good thought though!
