SDI online account login issues & disability status problems - need help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my disability status and can't sign into my online account. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure what to do next and could really use some advice.

Ugh, I've been there. The online system is such a nightmare sometimes. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That worked for me once when I couldn't log in.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give that a try and see if it helps. Fingers crossed 🤞

•Clearing cache didn't work for me. I had to call them directly. It's a pain, but sometimes it's the only way to get things sorted out.

•Yeah, calling is often the last resort. Good luck OP! Let us know if you get it figured out.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 seems steep just to make a phone call. Cant believe we have to pay to talk to our own government 🙄

•I get it, but for me, it was worth it to avoid the hassle. Time is money, ya know?

Have you checked if there's any system maintenance going on? Sometimes they do updates and it messes with the login process. Might be worth checking their Twitter or Facebook for announcements.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with the disability office for years: 1. Try accessing the site during off-peak hours (early morning or late night). 2. If you can't log in, request a password reset even if you know your password. 3. Use a different browser or device if possible. 4. Check if your account is locked - sometimes they do this for security reasons. 5. If all else fails, you'll need to call. Use the number 1-800-480-3287 for state disability. Remember to document everything - dates you tried to log in, error messages, etc. This can be helpful when you finally get through to someone. Hope this helps!

I've heard rumors that they're updating the entire system soon. Might be why things are extra glitchy lately. Hang in there!

•Just something I heard from a friend who works in gov't. Could be wrong tho, so don't quote me on it!

I've been dealing with similar login issues for weeks now! What finally worked for me was using an incognito/private browsing window and making sure JavaScript was enabled. Also, if you're using any ad blockers or privacy extensions, try disabling them temporarily - they sometimes interfere with the site's functionality. The EDD website is notoriously finicky with certain browser settings. Good luck getting it sorted out!

•Thanks for sharing this! I'm definitely going to try the incognito window trick - never thought of that. The ad blocker thing makes sense too since I have a few extensions running. It's crazy how picky these government sites are with browser settings. Appreciate the detailed suggestions!
