PFL claim resubmitted a month ago, no updates. Anyone else experiencing long delays?
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I resubmitted my paid family leave claim about a month ago, and I haven't heard a peep from them since. It's been radio silence for weeks now. Anyone else dealing with this kind of delay? I'm starting to get worried and could really use some advice or insight from folks who've been through this before.

Ugh, I feel your pain! I went through something similar last year. It took them almost 2 months to get back to me after I resubmitted my claim. The waiting game is brutal π«

2 months?! That's insane. Did you do anything to speed up the process?

Honestly, I just kept calling and bugging them. It was exhausting, but it eventually paid off. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that π€·ββοΈ

Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes you gotta be proactive and chase them down for updates. It sucks, but it might help move things along.

I've tried calling a few times, but I always get stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have better luck getting through.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting forever. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Idk man, paying to talk to a government agency feels wrong. Shouldn't this be free?

I get where you're coming from, but for me, time is money. I'd rather pay $20 than waste a whole day on hold π€·ββοΈ

Here's what I've learned from dealing with PFL claims: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and submissions. 2. Be persistent. Call regularly for updates. 3. Check your online account daily for any changes or messages. 4. If possible, submit any additional documentation they might need, even if they haven't asked for it yet. 5. Reach out to your local representative's office. They can sometimes help expedite things. 6. Join Facebook groups or forums dedicated to PFL claims. You might get insider tips. 7. If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the state labor board. Hang in there, OP. The system is slow, but it does work... eventually.

I'm in the exact same boat rn. Resubmitted my claim 6 weeks ago and crickets since then. This whole process is a joke π€‘

Not to be that guy, but did you make sure you filled out everything correctly? I had to resubmit twice because I missed a tiny detail on the form π€¦ββοΈ

Yeah, I triple-checked everything before submitting. Pretty sure it's all correct, but who knows with these forms π

Unpopular opinion: maybe we should all just camp outside their office until they process our claims. Who's with me? βΊοΈβ

Careful, they might process that as a new claim and make us wait another month π
