Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated. I submitted my paid family leave claim almost 3 months ago and it still hasn't been processed. Has anyone else experienced such a long delay? This system is so broken. We pay into it, but when we need it, its like pulling teeth to get our benefits. Something needs to change!

Yeah, I triple-checked everything before submitting. Pretty sure it's all correct, but who knows with these forms 😅

I filed my PFL claim 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back from EDD. The only update on the My EDD website is that my claim is being processed. I really need to talk to someone about this. Has anyone else had this problem? What questions should I ask when I finally get through to a live person?

Conspiracy theory: the website is never actually under maintenance. They just put that up when too many people are trying to access it at once. 🤔

I work in healthcare. I thought that might speed things up, but apparently not. 🤷♂️

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble submitting my application for Paid Family Leave. The main issue is that I can't file my claim because of an ID verification problem. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I say when I finally get through to an EDD agent? I'm worried they might transfer me if I mention I haven't filed yet. Any advice would be appreciated!

Has anyone else noticed that the EDD website is down like every other weekend for "scheduled maintenance"? It's almost like they don't want us to file our claims 🙄
omg yes! It's always when I finally have time to deal with this stuff too. So frustrating!

Guys, I've been dealing with EDD for 6 months now. Here's my advice: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online interaction. It's saved my butt multiple times when they tried to say I didn't do something I know I did.
This! 👆 I learned this the hard way. Now I have a whole binder dedicated to my EDD saga.
