If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just a heads up, there was a news article last week saying EDD is experiencing major backlogs due to staff shortages. Might explain the delays everyone's experiencing.

Great, just what we needed πŸ™„ Any idea when they expect to catch up?

The article didn't say, unfortunately. But they're supposedly hiring more staff.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. 2. Try different times of day. Early morning and late afternoon seem to work best. 3. Be prepared with all your info before you call. Have your claim number, ID, and any relevant documents ready. 4. If you get a unhelpful agent, politely end the call and try again. Some are more knowledgeable than others. 5. Consider using a call-back service if you're really stuck. It costs money, but it might be worth it if you're desperate. 6. Check for any Spanish-language community organizations in your area. They might be able to help or provide resources. 7. Document everything. Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. We're all in the same boat.

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a response.

I second this! I got a response within a day when I tweeted at them. Worth a shot!

Has anyone else noticed that the EDD website is down like every other weekend for "scheduled maintenance"? It's almost like they don't want us to file our claims πŸ™„

Conspiracy theory: they do it on purpose to reduce the number of claims filed πŸ‘€

Guys, I've been dealing with EDD for 6 months now. Here's my advice: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online interaction. It's saved my butt multiple times when they tried to say I didn't do something I know I did.

I didn't even know faxing was still a thing lol. But I'll look into it, thanks!

This might sound crazy, but has anyone tried going to an EDD office in person? I'm thinking of driving to one tomorrow cuz I'm so fed up with the phone system.

I tried that last month. Waited in line for 3 hours only to be told they couldn't help with PFL claims in person. Total waste of time 😀

Oof, thanks for the heads up. Guess I'll scratch that plan πŸ˜…

Anyone else notice that the EDD website is always "undergoing maintenance" when you actually need to use it? πŸ™„

LOL for real tho. It's like they know exactly when I'm gonna log in and decide to do updates πŸ˜‚

Conspiracy theory: the website is never actually under maintenance. They just put that up when too many people are trying to access it at once. πŸ€”

Hey OP, what industry do you work in? I've heard some industries are getting processed faster than others.

Huh, that's surprising. You'd think healthcare workers would be prioritized. The system makes no sense sometimes.
