PFL claim filed 3+ months ago, no payment, Money Network can't find account - Help!
I submitted a paid family leave claim for newborn bonding over 3 months ago and still haven't received any payment. The automated system said a debit card was issued, but when I called Money Network to report it lost/stolen, they couldn't find an account with my info. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Filed for PFL 2 months ago and crickets. Called Money Network too and they had no record. It's like we're in limbo 😫

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦♂️

•Sounds sketchy. How do you know it's legit?

•I get the skepticism, but I was desperate and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration. Sometimes you gotta pay to play 🤷♀️

•Can you give more details about how it works? Do they give you a specific time for the call?

•Sure! You choose the department you need, pay, and then they start calling. When they get a rep, your phone rings and you're connected. No specific time, but they keep trying until they get through.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, who you spoke to, and what they said. 2. Contact your local state representative's office. They often have liaisons who can help with EDD issues. 3. File a formal complaint with EDD. Sometimes this kicks things into gear. 4. Check if your employer properly submitted your info. Sometimes the holdup is on their end. 5. If all else fails, consider contacting a labor lawyer for a consultation. Don't give up! The system is frustrating but persistence usually pays off.

pro tip: sometimes the online portal shows different info than what the phone reps can see. Have you checked your account online?

I had a similar issue last year. Turns out there was a typo in my SSN on the application. Double-check all your info!

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at EDD or posting on their FB page gets a faster response. Worth a shot!
