PFL claim card delay - no card received yet. What to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my paid family leave claim. I haven't received my card yet and I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else experienced delays with their card delivery? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I went through something similar last month. Have you tried calling them to check on the status? It's a pain to get through, but it might be worth it.

•Thanks for the suggestion. I've been trying to call, but the wait times are insane. Any tips on getting through?

•Honestly, I just kept calling and eventually got lucky. It's frustrating, but persistence is key. Good luck!

•Pro tip: try calling right when they open. I've had better luck getting through early in the morning.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•I get it, but for me, it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Time is money, ya know?

Have you checked your mailing address on file? Sometimes they send it to an old address if you haven't updated your info.

The whole system is a joke. I've been waiting for my card for 6 weeks now. Good luck getting any real help from them. 🙄

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your mailing address online 2. Call the EDD and verify they have the correct address 3. Ask about the status of your card and when it was mailed 4. If it's been more than 10 business days, request a replacement card 5. Document everything - who you talked to, date, time, and what they said 6. If all else fails, contact your local state representative's office. They can sometimes help expedite things Hang in there! It's a frustrating process, but you'll get through it.
