PFL Payment Delay After Leave Ended - When to Expect Check?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. My PFL leave just ended and I still haven't received my payment. I'm trying to get some info on when I might expect that check to come through. Anyone else dealing with this? How long did it take for you to get paid after your leave was over?

I found a way to solve PFL payment delays quickly, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnPudu1DAPo

Ugh, I feel ya. I was in the same boat a few months ago. It took about 3 weeks after my leave ended to get the payment. Have you tried calling them? The wait times are ridiculous tho šŸ™„

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through in like 20 mins doing that!

I found a way to get someone on the phone fast. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

Totally legit! I was skeptical too but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

How long did it take for them to get someone on the line?

It took about an hour, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was ready!

Here's what I've learned about PFL payments after my recent experience: ā€¢ Processing time: Typically 5-10 business days after your leave ends ā€¢ Factors affecting delay: Incomplete paperwork, high volume of claims ā€¢ What to do: 1. Double-check all your docs are submitted 2. Use online portal to track status if possible 3. Be persistent with calls (early morning is best) ā€¢ If no payment after 3 weeks, something's probably wrong Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP!

I swear the system is designed to make us give up. Been waiting 6 weeks now and still nothing. This is ridiculous!

6 weeks?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local rep? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

No, I haven't. Didn't even know that was an option. How do I find my local rep?

Just google '[your city] state representative'. Send them an email explaining your situation. They often have staff dedicated to helping with these issues.

Anyone else notice that the payment amounts seem off sometimes? I swear they shorted me last time but I can't figure out their math šŸ¤”

YES! I thought I was going crazy. We need a PFL payment calculator or something.
