PFL payment timing and amount issues - need help!
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my PFL payments and could use some advice. I'm worried about both the timing and the amount I'm supposed to receive. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to figure out what I'm actually entitled to or when I can expect the money to come through? This whole process is so confusing!

Ugh, I feel you. The PFL system is a total mess. I've been dealing with payment issues for weeks now. Have you tried using their online calculator? It's not perfect, but it might give you a rough idea of what you should be getting.

The online calculator is trash tbh. It gave me a number way off from what I actually got. Better off calling them directly if you can get through š

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give the calculator a shot, but yeah, I've heard it can be hit or miss. Might have to bite the bullet and try calling...

Calling is a nightmare tho. I spent 3 hours on hold last week and got disconnected. This system is so broken š¤

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

I was skeptical at first too, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Here's what I've learned from my PFL payment saga: ā¢ Payment amounts are based on your highest-earning quarter in the past 18 months ā¢ Timing can vary, but usually starts about 2 weeks after your claim is approved ā¢ You should receive payments every two weeks after that ā¢ If there's a holiday, it might delay things by a day or two ā¢ Always double-check your claim for any errors or missing info Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed breakdown! This is super helpful. Quick question - do you know if overtime pay is factored into that highest-earning quarter calculation?

Glad I could help! And yes, overtime should be included in that calculation. Anything that shows up on your W-2 for that quarter counts.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there about payment dates. Also, make sure all your docs are uploaded correctly. I had a delay cuz they said they never got my doctors note even tho I sent it twice š

Good call, I'll double-check everything online. Wouldn't surprise me if something got lost in their system š

6 weeks?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local rep? Sometimes they can light a fire under PFL's a**
