How long does EDD take to process faxed timesheets? Anxiously waiting for payment update

Hey everyone, I just sent in my timesheet by fax to EDD and I'm wondering how long it usually takes for them to process it? Anyone have experience with this? I'm getting anxious waiting for my payment update.

I found a way to solve EDD timesheet processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A69qacBhR6I

In my experience, it typically takes about 7-10 business days for EDD to process a faxed timesheet. Hang in there!

Thanks for the info! Guess I'll have to be patient for a bit longer šŸ˜…

I know, right? The system is so slow sometimes. But that's just how it goes with government agencies šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Ugh, I hate dealing with EDD. Their processing times are all over the place. I've had it take anywhere from a week to almost a month šŸ™„

Pro tip: Next time, try submitting your timesheet online if possible. It's usually faster than faxing!

I didn't even know that was an option! Thanks for the heads up šŸ‘

Online submission is def the way to go. Saves trees too! 🌳

I found a method to get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds interesting, but $20? Is it really worth it?

For me, it was totally worth it. Saved me hours of frustration and got my issue resolved quickly.

Idk man, seems kinda sketchy. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but it's legit. They even have reviews on Trustpilot if you wanna check.

Have you tried calling EDD directly? Sometimes you can get lucky and get through to someone who can give you an update.

I've tried calling but always get the busy signal or get disconnected šŸ˜ž

Here's what I've learned from dealing with EDD for the past year: • Faxed timesheets usually take 7-10 business days to process • Online submissions are faster, usually 3-5 business days • If you haven't heard anything after 2 weeks, definitely follow up • Keep copies of EVERYTHING you send them • Try calling first thing in the morning or right before they close for better chances of getting through • Be prepared for long hold times if you do call • Check your EDD account online regularly for updates Hope this helps! The waiting game sucks, but hang in there.
