Form delivered but account not updated - what to do?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my account not being updated. I mailed in a form and it was delivered, but nothing has changed on my account. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, I've been there. It's so frustrating when you do everything right and still nothing happens. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

I've been trying to call but can't get through. It's like their phone lines are always busy 😫

Pro tip: call right when they open. I usually have better luck getting through then.

Calling when they open doesn't always work either. I've tried that and still got the busy signal. It's like playing the lottery 🎰

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? 🤔

Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It saved me hours of frustration.

$20 seems steep just to make a phone call. Is it worth it?

For me it was. I wasted way more than $20 worth of my time trying to get through on my own. Plus, the peace of mind was priceless.

Have you tried faxing the form instead? Sometimes that's faster than mail. Also, make sure to keep copies of EVERYTHING you send them. You never know when you'll need proof.

This happened to me last year. Turns out they had my form but it got stuck in some backlog. I had to escalate to a supervisor to get it sorted out. Don't give up!

How did you manage to escalate to a supervisor? I can't even get a regular agent on the phone 😭

It took a lot of persistence. I kept calling and asking for a supervisor until I got one. It's not easy, but sometimes it's the only way.

The whole system is broken af. They expect us to jump through hoops while they take their sweet time. It's not like we don't have bills to pay or anything 🙄

Preach! 🙌 It's like they forget we're real people with real problems.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with them: 1. Always send important documents via certified mail. It costs more but gives you proof of delivery. 2. Keep a log of every interaction - dates, times, who you spoke to, what was said. 3. Follow up regularly. Don't assume they're working on your case. 4. If possible, submit forms online AND by mail. Belt and suspenders approach. 5. Be persistent but polite. The person on the other end of the line isn't personally responsible for the system's failures. 6. If all else fails, contact your local representative. Sometimes they can help cut through red tape. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. We're all in the same boat.

Yeah, I've been refreshing it like crazy. Still no change 😕

Oof, bureaucracy at its finest. Reminds me of that time I tried to change my address. Took 3 months and 5 phone calls. Hang in there, OP!
