EDD Payment Not Received After 14-Day Waiting Period - What To Do?
Has anyone else not received their payment after the 14-day waiting period? I'm getting worried because it's been over two weeks and still nothing in my account. This is really stressing me out because I have bills to pay. Anyone know what I should do or who I can contact about this?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been 17 days for me and still nothing. This is ridiculous! 😤 Have you tried calling them? I've been trying but can't get through.

•Calling is a nightmare. I spent 3 hours on hold yesterday and then got disconnected. 🤬

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes that way.

•Thanks for the tip! I'll try that tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed 🤞

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•Is it legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Got through in like 2 hours instead of days of trying. Worth it IMO.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there about payment delays.

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was an identity verification issue. Check your inbox for any messages from them requesting additional info.

The whole system is broken. I've been waiting 6 weeks now. No payment, can't get through on the phone, and my landlord is breathing down my neck. Anyone know if there's legal action we can take?

•I heard there's a class action lawsuit brewing. Might wanna look into that.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Double-check all your info is correct online 2. Send a message through the online portal asking about the delay 3. If no response in 3 days, start calling every morning at 8:01 AM 4. If you still can't get through, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes expedite things. Hope this helps! Hang in there, everyone. I know it's tough but keep pushing!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now - 16 days and counting with no payment. The stress is real! 😰 I've tried calling multiple times but like everyone else, can't get through. Going to try @Ruby Garcia's tip about calling right when they open tomorrow. Also going to check my online account again for any messages I might have missed after reading @Lucy Taylor's comment about identity verification issues. This whole situation is just awful - we're already dealing with being unable to work and then they make us jump through hoops just to get the help we're entitled to. Hoping we all get our payments soon! 🤞
