EDD Error E313 when applying for disability online - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble applying for disability online. I keep getting this error code E313 when I try to submit my application. It's really frustrating because I can't seem to get past it. Has anyone else run into this issue or know how to fix it? I don't have much info to go on, just this error code popping up.

Ugh, I had a similar problem last month. Have you double-checked all your info? Sometimes it's just a small typo that causes these errors. Make sure your CDL or ID details are 100% correct. Also, try requesting the DE 2501 form - that might help bypass the online system if it's being glitchy.

•Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely double-check everything. What's the DE 2501 form though? How do I get it?

•The DE 2501 is the paper application for disability insurance. You can usually download it from the EDD website or request it by mail. It's a bit old school, but sometimes it works when the online system is being a pain 🤷♂️

•Just a heads up, filling out that form by hand can be a real headache. Make sure you have plenty of time and patience if you go that route! 😅

E313? Never seen that one before. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that can help with weird website errors. Also, what browser are you using? I've had better luck with Chrome than Firefox when dealing with government sites.

I swear, the EDD website is held together with duct tape and prayers. 🤦♂️ It's ridiculous how often these errors pop up. You'd think with all the taxes we pay, they could afford a decent IT team.

Hey, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone who can help with these issues. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•I get the skepticism, but yeah, it's legit. I was desperate after weeks of trying to get through and it actually worked for me. Worth every penny tbh.

•Wait, we have to PAY to talk to a government agency now? That's messed up. 😡

•I hear ya, but think of it this way - how much is your time worth? For me, not having to sit on hold for hours was totally worth the $20.

Have you tried applying at different times of the day? Sometimes the system gets overloaded during peak hours and throws out random errors. I had better luck submitting my application late at night when there was less traffic on the site.

Okay, let me break this down for you. I've been through this rodeo before, and here's what you need to do: 1. First, make sure all your personal info is 100% accurate. Any tiny mistake can trigger that E313 error. 2. Try using a different device or browser. Sometimes it's just a compatibility issue. 3. If that doesn't work, clear your cache and cookies, then try again. 4. Still no luck? Time to go old school. Request the DE 2501 form. You can download it from the EDD website or call to have it mailed to you. 5. While you're waiting for the form, keep trying the online application at off-peak hours (early morning or late night). 6. If all else fails, you might need to speak with an actual human. Be prepared for a long wait, or consider using a paid service to get through the phone lines faster. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is frustrating, but you'll get through eventually. Good luck! 💪

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes logging out completely, waiting a few minutes, then trying again can help. Worth a shot!
