If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

unpopular opinion: maybe we should all just get jobs instead of relying on the government 🤷‍♀️

Bruh, this is for disability. People literally can't work. Read the room 🙄

oh shoot, my bad. i totally misread that. ignore me lol 😅

Pro tip: If you do manage to get through on the phone, ask for a tier 2 specialist right away. They have more power to actually fix issues with your claim.

Has anyone heard about the new bill they're considering that might affect extensions? I saw something on the news but couldn't find much info online.

I think I know what youre talking about. Its still in committee tho, so nothing concrete yet. Fingers crossed it helps us out! 🤞

pro tip: document EVERYTHING. every call, every letter, every email. you never know when youll need to prove you did something or they said something. saved my butt more than once!

lol good luck. been trying to sort out my claim for 3 months now. this whole system is a joke 🤡

Preach 🙌 Sometimes I think they make it this difficult on purpose

3 months? Amateur hour. Try 6 months and counting 😭

Hey OP, just wondering - what specific issue are you dealing with regarding Paid Family Leave? Might be able to give more targeted advice if we know the details.

Thanks for asking! I'm trying to file a claim for bonding time with my newborn, but I'm not sure if I'm eligible since I work part-time. That's why I really need to talk to someone directly.

Ah gotcha. Part-time can be tricky. Make sure you have your exact hours worked for the past 18 months when you call. They'll need that to determine eligibility. Congrats on the new baby btw!

lol watch them say they 'lost' your paperwork. happened to me and I had to start the whole process over again 🙃

Hang in there, OP! The waiting game sucks but your payment will come eventually. Just keep following up and don't let them forget about you!

Thanks for the encouragement! It's been tough but I'm trying to stay positive.

Here's what I've learned from my experience and research: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and online account checks. 2. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important EDD emails end up there. 3. Make sure your identity verification is complete. This is a common holdup. 4. If you can't get through on the main line, try the technical support line and ask to be transferred. 5. Use social media. Sometimes tweeting at EDD or commenting on their Facebook posts can get attention. 6. Consider filing a complaint with the Department of Labor if it's been an excessive amount of time. 7. Join Facebook groups for unemployment support. There's often good, current info there. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but persistence usually pays off eventually.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed response! This is incredibly helpful. I'll definitely start implementing these steps.
