PFL claim filed 1 month ago, no updates. What to do?
Hey everyone, I filed my Paid Family Leave claim over a month ago and still haven't heard anything back. It's been radio silence since January 23rd. I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else experienced long delays like this? Any advice on what I should do next or who I should contact? I'm not sure if I should just keep waiting or if there's something I'm missing. This is my first time dealing with PFL and I'm feeling pretty lost.

Has anyone tried faxing their documents? I heard it can sometimes be faster than mailing or uploading online. Might be worth a shot if you're desperate.

Hey everyone, I need some advice. My disability is about to end, and I've been told to go through Social Security for long-term care. My current disability ends on 3/3/25, and I'm not sure what to do next. I haven't started the application process with Social Security yet. Any tips on how to transition from state disability to Social Security for long-term care?

Random question: has anyone here successfully transitioned from state to federal disability WITHOUT a gap in coverage? Is that even possible?
It's tough, but possible. You need to time your applications perfectly and hope for no delays. I managed it, but it was stressful af.
I had a small gap, like 2 weeks. Not ideal, but could've been worse I guess.
