Random question: has anyone here successfully transitioned from state to federal disability WITHOUT a gap in coverage? Is that even possible?
Not to be that guy, but have you considered looking for work? I know the job market sucks rn, but even a part-time gig might help while you wait for EDD to get their act together.

Pro tip: if you get connected to the wrong department, ask them to transfer you directly instead of hanging up and calling again. Sometimes they can do an internal transfer that bypasses the main menu.
