Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

The whole disability insurance system is a joke. They make it so hard on purpose hoping people will just give up. It's criminal how they treat people who are already struggling. 🤬
It's not THAT bad. I've had good experiences with my claims. Maybe y'all just got unlucky?

Not sure if this helps, but I had success by going to my local unemployment office in person. The wait was long, but I got answers and they were able to push my claim through.
That's a great idea, I didn't even think of that. Is it best to make an appointment or just show up?
I just showed up, but if they offer appointments where you are, that might be better. Bring all your docs just in case!

Not to be that guy, but have you considered looking for work? I know the job market sucks rn, but even a part-time gig might help while you wait for EDD to get their act together.

Hey OP, when you talk to them next time, make sure to emphasize that the retirement withdrawal was due to hardship caused by the disability. That might help your case.
