Doctor sent supplemental cert to EDD - What's next?

I went through this last month. It can take a while for them to process it. Have you checked your online account to see if it shows up there? Sometimes it takes a few days to appear in the system.

Ugh, supplemental certs are the worst. I had to call like 50 times before I got through to someone who could help me. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Has anyone tried faxing the cert instead of mailing it? I heard it might be faster but idk if thats true

Just a heads up, there's been some changes to the process recently. Make sure you're using the most up-to-date forms from their website. Learned that the hard way 😅
