ESD weekly claim system kicked me out mid-filing - phone system hung up & website rejecting password
I'm so frustrated right now! I tried filing my weekly claim this morning through the phone system. Got all the way through answering every single question (took forever), and just when the automated voice was about to say "your claim has now been accepted" it hung up on me! Now I'm worried my claim didn't actually go through, but I can't even check because when I tried logging into eServices, it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I KNOW I'm using the right password - I haven't changed it in months! Is the system down today or something? Has anyone else had issues filing their weekly claim today? I really need this payment to go through on time.

Same thing happening to me right now! The whole ESD system seems buggy today. I couldn't even get through on the phone - kept getting disconnected after being on hold for 45 minutes. When I tried the website, it let me log in but then froze on the weekly claim page. Tried three browsers with the same result. Must be some kind of system update or maintenance they didn't bother telling us about... typical ESD.

I work in IT and this sounds like they might be doing updates to their servers. Sometimes they don't announce maintenance windows properly. Try clearing your browser cache or use incognito mode for the website login issues. As for the phone system, might just be overloaded today since it's Monday (always the busiest day for claims).

OMG THE SAME THING just happnd to me!!!! I got all the way to the end on the phone & it just disconnected!! I tried calling back but now it says "all agents are busy" and hangs up immediately??? I'm freaking out because I already had one late claim last month and I can't mess up again or they might put a hold on my account!!!

•Don't panic! You have until the end of Tuesday to file for the previous week without it being considered late. ESD gives a little grace period. Try again later tonight when the system might be less busy.

After fighting with the ESD systems for months, I finally found a service called Claimyr that got me through to an actual agent in about 15 minutes instead of waiting on hold forever. Used it last month when I had a similar issue with the system kicking me out mid-claim. The agent was able to check if my claim went through and help me file when the system wasn't working.

Here's what's happening: ESD is upgrading their claim filing system this week. There was an announcement buried in their website last week (typical that they didn't make it more visible). The system will be spotty through Wednesday. Important things to know: 1. You have until 11:59pm on Tuesday to file your weekly claim without it being late 2. If the phone system disconnects AFTER you've answered all questions, your claim has likely been recorded even if you didn't hear the confirmation 3. For password issues, wait 30 minutes between attempts or you might get temporarily locked out 4. If you absolutely need to check your claim status today, calling early tomorrow morning (6am when they open) is your best bet Source: I'm currently on standby status and got this info directly from an ESD agent last week.

Keep trying the phone system! I filed around 4pm today after having the same issues this morning. Seems like the system is less overwhelmed in the afternoon. For the password problem, try using the "forgot password" option to reset it - sometimes their system resets passwords during maintenance even when they claim it doesn't. Hope this helps!

this happens every few months when they do updates... so annoying! but dont worry about it being late, u can file until tuesday at midnight and it still counts as on time. if the website isnt working try calling 833-572-8400 which is the different number sometimes it works when the main one doesnt

UPDATE: Finally got through! For anyone else having this problem, I ended up using that Claimyr service someone mentioned below. Got connected to an ESD agent in about 20 minutes (way better than the hours I've waited before). The agent confirmed my claim from this morning DID go through even though the system hung up on me! The password issue was happening because they're updating the system. She said if anyone is still having issues, try again after 7pm tonight when the daily maintenance window ends. Just wanted to update in case others are still struggling with this!
