ESD payment delays today? Still waiting for my funds to deposit
Has anyone received their unemployment deposit today? My weekly claim was processed and approved on Monday showing 'paid' status, but the money hasn't hit my bank account yet. It's normally there by Wednesday morning. Getting a little nervous since rent is due soon. Anyone else experiencing delays or is it just me? I checked my ESD account and everything looks normal on their end.

Same boat here. Mine usually hits my account Tuesday by noon, but nothing yet. ESD website shows payment was processed yesterday. I called my bank and they don't see any pending deposits either.

Got mine this morning around 6am. Check that your direct deposit info hasn't changed. Sometimes the system glitches and reverts to the debit card option.

STILL WAITING TOO!! This happened to me last month - took an extra 2 days for no reason. ESD said it was a 'processing delay' but wouldn't explain more. The system is GARBAGE and they don't care that people have bills to pay!!

•yeah the esd system is always having issues. my neighbor works for the state (not esd) and says they're constantly dealing with technical problems. apparently their computer system is super outdated

ESD sometimes has payment batch processing delays that can push things back by 1-2 business days. If your claim shows 'paid' status in eServices, the money is on its way. A few things to check: 1. Verify your payment method is correct 2. Check if there were any holidays this week (delays processing) 3. Make sure you don't have any new messages in your eServices inbox If it doesn't arrive by Friday, you should definitely contact ESD directly to investigate, as payments showing 'paid' should arrive within 72 hours max.

I struggled with the same issue a few weeks ago and spent HOURS trying to reach someone at ESD. After getting hung up on 4 times, I found this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that got me connected to an ESD agent in about 20 minutes. The agent told me there was a verification flag on my account that was delaying payment even though everything showed 'paid'. Might be worth a try if you need to speak with someone directly.

•In my case, I had started part-time work and reported earnings, which triggered an automatic review. The agent removed the flag since all my documentation was in order. The system just got stuck in some weird loop. Worth asking about!

when this happened to me last year it was because they were doing some kind of system update. the money showed up 2 days late but i still got it. as long as it says paid in ur account ur probably fine just gotta wait

•Glad to hear it resolved itself! If you experience this again, it might be worth asking ESD about setting up a different payment method. Sometimes switching from direct deposit to the ESD debit card (or vice versa) can resolve these periodic delays.
