ESD application form glitch - stuck midway through, need agent help but can't reach anyone. Any solutions?
I was filling out my unemployment application and got confused halfway through. Now my application is incomplete and I can't finish it. Only an agent can fix the form, but I can't get through to anyone. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on how to get it resolved?

I found a way to solve incomplete unemployment application issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1bTIdHpHzU

Ugh, I feel your pain. The unemployment system is such a mess rn. I had a similar issue last month and it took me forever to get it sorted out. Have you tried calling first thing in the morning? Sometimes that works better.

I've tried calling at different times, but no luck. It's so frustrating! How long did it take you to finally get through?

It took me about a week of constant calling 😩 Keep trying tho, you'll get through eventually!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? How long did you have to wait?

It worked for me! I waited about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit on hold. The service called me when an agent was ready.

$20 seems steep just to talk to someone. The unemployment office should do better 😤

I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Beats calling for days on end 🤷♂️

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at the unemployment office can get their attention. Worth a shot!

I've been dealing with this exact issue for THREE WEEKS now. It's ridiculous how broken the system is. I've tried everything - calling, emailing, even sent a letter. Nothing works. I'm about ready to give up 😫

Don't give up! Have you tried contacting your local representative? They might be able to help push things along.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Write down when you tried to complete the application, what error you got, etc. 2. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt the application again. 3. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser or device. 4. Call the unemployment office as soon as they open. Be prepared to wait. 5. While waiting, try to find an email address for their tech support team. 6. If you get through on the phone, be polite but firm. Explain your situation clearly. 7. Ask for a direct number or extension for follow-up. 8. If all else fails, contact your state representative or senator's office. Hope this helps! The system is frustrating, but don't give up. You'll get through eventually.

Have you checked if there's an option to save your progress and come back later? Sometimes the forms have that feature buried somewhere.

I looked for something like that but couldn't find it. The whole interface is really confusing 😕

I work in IT (not for the unemployment office tho). Sometimes these issues can be caused by browser extensions or security settings. Try disabling all extensions and temprorarily lowering your security settings (remember to put them back after). Also, make sure your browsers up to date. Might help, might not, but worth a shot!

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Been trying to fix my application for weeks. This whole system is a joke. Anyone know if there's a class action lawsuit we can join? 😤
