How long for TWC ReliaCard to arrive in mail? Mine's been 10 days now

Hey everyone, I just got approved for TWC unemployment benefits last week and I'm waiting for my ReliaCard to show up in the mail. It's been 10 days already and nothing yet. Starting to get worried since I need to pay rent soon. The payment status shows 'paid' in my account but obviously I can't access the money without the card. Anyone know the typical timeline for these cards to arrive? Should I be concerned yet or keep waiting? Also, if it doesn't come soon, is there any way to expedite or get a replacement? Really stressing about this!

Thanks for letting me know! Did yours eventually just show up or did you have to call someone?

ReliaCard delivery typically takes 10-14 business days, not regular days. So weekends don't count, which means you might be only at day 7-8 of business days. They ship from US Bank in Ohio, so distance is also a factor. If it hasn't arrived by day 15 (business days), then you should call US Bank at 1-800-657-6343 to request a replacement. Don't call TWC about this - they don't handle the cards directly. Also, make sure your mailing address is exactly correct on your TWC account, as any discrepancy will cause delivery issues.

WRONG!! Mine took 21 days back in January! Complete disaster. TWC said it was mailed but US Bank kept saying it wasn't in their system yet. They're BOTH incompetent!

Thank you for the detailed info! I double-checked my address in the TWC portal and it's correct. I guess I need to be more patient, but it's hard when bills are due.

While ur waiting for the card, u can set up direct deposit for future payments. Go to the TWC portal, click on payment options, and enter ur bank info. Won't help with the current payment stuck on the ReliaCard, but at least future ones will go straight to ur account. That's what I did after waiting FOREVER for my card. Card still came eventually tho.

That's a smart idea, I'll do that today! Thanks for the suggestion. At least I won't have this problem again.

I had the same issue last month. After two weeks of waiting, I needed to contact TWC to check the status but couldn't get through on the phone. After dozens of failed calls, I used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to connect with a TWC representative. They have this video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U?si=kNxmh025COIlIzKh. The TWC agent confirmed my ReliaCard had been mailed but gave me the direct number for US Bank's ReliaCard department to check the status. Turns out it was sent to my old address even though my TWC profile had the correct one. They expedited a new card that arrived in 3 business days. If you're worried, it's worth confirming everything is in order.

Thank you so much for this info! If it doesn't arrive by next Wednesday I'm definitely going to use that service to get through to TWC. I had no idea they could even expedite these cards!

I used claimyr too when i couldnt get thru to twc about my identity verification issue. didnt even know about this service until someone on this forum mentioned it. weird that the government makes it so hard to talk to a human being that people have to use outside services just to get basic help.

Just to clarify some information: US Bank can expedite a replacement ReliaCard for a fee (usually around $15), but they will only do this after confirming your original card was actually issued and sent. They require a waiting period of at least 10 business days from the date of issue before they'll process a replacement. When you call them, have your TWC claim ID and personal identification information ready. Also, be prepared to set up a PIN for your new card during that call.

This is super helpful. I'll wait another week, and if nothing arrives, I'll follow these steps. Really appreciate all the guidance!

It actually came yesterday! So it took 17 days total (12 business days). Hang in there, it should arrive soon!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! Filed two weeks ago, got approved, and still no card. Reading through all these responses is really helpful - I had no idea about the business days vs regular days thing. I've been counting weekends this whole time and getting more stressed each day. Going to set up direct deposit today like Jasmine suggested so I don't have to deal with this waiting game again. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!

I'm glad you found all the info helpful! I was making the same mistake with counting weekends - it really does make a difference when you realize it's business days only. Setting up direct deposit is definitely the way to go. I wish I had known about that option from the beginning. The waiting is so stressful, especially when you have bills due. Hang in there, it sounds like most people get their cards between 12-17 business days based on what everyone shared here.

For anyone still waiting, I wanted to share that you can actually call US Bank's ReliaCard customer service at 1-855-282-6161 to check the status of your card without waiting the full 10 business days. They can tell you if it was mailed, when it was sent, and to what address. I called on day 8 and found out mine was sent to my old address (even though TWC had my current one). They were able to cancel that card and expedite a new one to the correct address for a $15 fee. Got it in 3 days after that. Sometimes it's worth calling early if you're worried about the address or timeline!

This is exactly the kind of info I wish I had known earlier! I just called that number and they confirmed my card was mailed 3 days ago to the right address, so I should get it soon. It's so much better than just sitting here wondering what's happening. Thanks for sharing that tip - definitely calling early is worth it just for peace of mind!

Just wanted to add another data point for anyone still waiting - mine took exactly 16 business days to arrive. I was getting really anxious around day 12, but it finally showed up. One thing I learned is that if you move during the waiting period, make sure to update your address with TWC immediately AND call US Bank to let them know. A friend of mine had to wait an extra 2 weeks because she moved and the card got sent to her old place first. Also, when it does arrive, activate it right away online or by phone - don't wait! The sooner you activate it, the sooner you can access your funds.

Thanks for adding your timeline - 16 business days is really helpful to know! The tip about updating your address with both TWC AND US Bank is super important. I didn't realize you had to notify both places separately. Also good point about activating right away - I can imagine finally getting the card and then having to wait even longer because you forgot to activate it would be so frustrating! I'm on day 9 business days now so hopefully mine comes soon.

Been following this thread and wanted to share my recent experience - just got my ReliaCard after 14 business days. The key thing that helped me was calling US Bank at 1-855-282-6161 around day 10 to confirm it was actually mailed and to the right address. They were super helpful and could track exactly when it was sent. Also, for anyone still waiting, I found out you can actually create an online account with US Bank ReliaCard even before your physical card arrives - you just need your claim number and personal info. You can't spend the money obviously, but you can at least see that your payment is there waiting for you, which gave me peace of mind. And definitely set up direct deposit ASAP like others mentioned - I did that right after my card arrived and it's so much easier for future payments!

This is really helpful info! I didn't know you could create the online account before the physical card arrives - that's a great tip for peace of mind. I'm on day 11 business days now and getting anxious, so I think I'll call that US Bank number tomorrow to at least confirm it was sent. The idea of being able to see that the payment is actually there waiting would definitely help with the stress. Thanks for sharing your experience and timeline - 14 business days seems pretty typical based on what everyone's been sharing here. Also definitely going to set up direct deposit right away once I get my card!

I went through this exact same situation about 6 months ago and the stress is so real! My ReliaCard took 15 business days to arrive, which felt like forever when rent was due. One thing that really helped me was calling TWC's payment inquiry line (different from their main number) at 1-800-558-8321 - they could confirm that the payment was issued to the ReliaCard even though I couldn't access it yet. Also, if you're really in a bind financially, some local food banks and assistance programs can help with immediate needs while you wait for the card. Don't be afraid to reach out for temporary help - that's what these programs are for. The card WILL come, it's just their system is slow. Hang in there!

Thank you so much for sharing that TWC payment inquiry number - I had no idea there was a separate line just for payment questions! That's really helpful to know you can at least confirm the payment was issued even if you can't access it yet. I'm currently on day 12 business days waiting for my card and this whole thread has been so reassuring. It's good to know I'm not alone in this stressful waiting period. I really appreciate the reminder about local assistance programs too - sometimes we forget there are resources available to help bridge the gap while waiting. Your timeline of 15 business days gives me hope that mine should arrive soon!

I'm currently waiting for my ReliaCard too - it's been 8 business days so far. This thread has been incredibly helpful! I had no idea about the difference between business days vs regular days, and I've been panicking thinking I was already at day 14. Reading everyone's experiences makes me feel so much better about the timeline. I'm definitely going to call that US Bank number at 1-855-282-6161 around day 10 just to confirm it was mailed to the right address. Also planning to set up direct deposit as soon as the card arrives so I never have to go through this waiting period again. Thanks to everyone who shared their timelines and tips - this community is amazing for helping each other navigate these stressful situations!

You're at a good point in the timeline - day 8 is still well within the normal range based on what everyone's shared here! I was in your exact shoes a few weeks ago and this thread saved my sanity too. The business days vs regular days thing is such a game changer when you realize it. Calling US Bank around day 10 is a smart plan - they're really helpful and it gives you peace of mind to know it's actually in the mail. And yes, definitely set up that direct deposit ASAP once you get the card! I wish I had known about that option from the start. Hang in there, you should have it soon!

I'm in almost the exact same situation right now - approved for benefits last week and waiting for my ReliaCard to arrive. It's day 9 for me and I've been getting so anxious about it, especially with bills coming up. This entire thread has been a lifesaver! I had no clue about the business days vs regular days difference - I thought I was way behind schedule but now I realize I'm probably only at day 6 or 7 business days. Definitely calling that US Bank number at 1-855-282-6161 if it doesn't show up by early next week. Also going to set up direct deposit immediately once I get the card so I never have to deal with this stress again. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and timelines - it really helps to know this waiting period is totally normal even though it feels endless when you're living it!

I'm so glad this thread helped you too! I was literally in your exact same position a couple weeks ago - day 9 and completely panicking about bills. The business days revelation is such a relief when you realize you're not actually behind schedule. That US Bank number is definitely worth calling for peace of mind - they can confirm it's in the mail and to the right address which takes away so much of the anxiety. You're right that this waiting period feels endless when you're living it, but based on everyone's experiences here it sounds like you should have it within the next week or so. Direct deposit is absolutely the way to go once you get it - I set mine up immediately and it's such a relief knowing future payments will just go straight to my account!

I'm currently on day 6 business days waiting for my ReliaCard and this thread has been such a huge help! I was starting to panic because I thought I was counting wrong, but now I understand the business days vs regular days thing. It's so frustrating that TWC doesn't explain this clearly upfront - would save everyone so much stress! I'm definitely going to call that US Bank number around day 10 to check status, and I'll set up direct deposit the moment my card arrives. Really appreciate everyone sharing their timelines and experiences - it makes this whole waiting period feel way more manageable knowing it's totally normal and that the card WILL eventually come!

You're absolutely right that TWC should explain the business days thing more clearly upfront! I went through the same confusion and panic when I was waiting for mine. Day 6 business days means you're still well within the normal timeframe based on everyone's experiences here. That US Bank number is definitely worth having ready - I called around day 8 and it really helped ease my anxiety just knowing it was actually in the mail. The waiting is so stressful when bills are due, but hang in there! Most people seem to get theirs between days 10-15 business days. And yes, direct deposit is a game changer once you get it set up!

I'm currently on day 4 business days waiting for my ReliaCard and this whole thread has been incredibly reassuring! Like so many others here, I was counting regular days and getting worried for no reason. It's crazy how much stress the waiting causes when you have bills due and can see the payment is "issued" but can't actually access it. I'm bookmarking that US Bank number (1-855-282-6161) to call around day 10 if needed, and I'm definitely setting up direct deposit the second my card arrives. Thanks to everyone for sharing their timelines - it really helps to know that 10-17 business days seems to be the normal range. The fact that most people eventually get their cards gives me hope! This community is amazing for helping each other through these stressful government processes.

You're still really early in the process at day 4 business days! I remember that exact feeling of seeing "issued" in the system but not being able to touch the money - it's so frustrating. The good news is you have plenty of time before you even need to start worrying. Most people in this thread got theirs between days 10-17, so you're nowhere near that point yet. Smart thinking to bookmark that US Bank number and plan for direct deposit - I wish I had been that prepared when I was going through this! The waiting is definitely the worst part, but knowing you have a solid plan makes it much more manageable.

I'm on day 13 business days waiting for my ReliaCard and getting pretty anxious at this point! This thread has been so helpful though - knowing that others have waited 14-17 business days and still received their cards gives me hope. I called that US Bank number (1-855-282-6161) yesterday and they confirmed it was mailed to the correct address 5 days ago, so hopefully it arrives soon. The waiting is definitely the hardest part, especially when you can see the payment sitting there but can't access it. Planning to give it until day 17 before requesting a replacement, and I'm absolutely setting up direct deposit the moment this card arrives! Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences - it really helps to know this timeline is normal even though it feels like forever.

Hang in there! Day 13 business days is definitely getting into the longer range, but you're still within what seems normal based on everyone's experiences here. It's actually really encouraging that US Bank confirmed it was mailed 5 days ago to the right address - that means it should arrive any day now! I went through this same anxiety when I was waiting for mine, and checking with US Bank like you did was exactly the right move. Knowing it's actually in transit makes such a difference. You're smart to have a plan to wait until day 17 before requesting replacement - that seems to be the sweet spot based on what others have shared. The direct deposit setup is definitely going to save you from this stress in the future!

I'm currently on day 11 business days waiting for my ReliaCard and this thread has been a total lifesaver! Like everyone else, I was initially counting weekends and panicking that I was way overdue. The business days clarification changed everything - suddenly I realized I'm still in the normal range. I called that US Bank number (1-855-282-6161) this morning and they confirmed my card was mailed 3 days ago to the correct address, which gives me so much peace of mind. It's incredible how stressful this waiting period is when you can see "payment issued" but can't actually access the funds. Reading everyone's timelines here (especially knowing people got theirs anywhere from 10-17 business days) has really helped manage my expectations. I'm definitely setting up direct deposit the second this card arrives - never going through this anxiety again! Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and all the helpful phone numbers and tips. This community support makes such a difference when dealing with these frustrating government processes.
