PA UC payment showing in dashboard with zero issues - am I approved?
So this morning I checked my PA unemployment dashboard and noticed they finally filled in the amount I'm supposed to receive weekly ($425) and it shows zero issues. Does this actually mean I'm approved? I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks with an 'open issue' status and was getting worried. The money hasn't hit my Money Network card yet though. Is there another step or do I just need to wait longer? I don't want to get my hopes up if this doesn't actually mean I'm approved for benefits.

Yes! That's exactly what it means - you're approved! When my dashboard switched from open issues to zero issues and showed my weekly benefit amount, I got my first payment about 3-4 business days later. Did you already file your weekly claims during those 3 weeks? If so, you should get a lump sum for all those weeks soon. Congrats!

•OMG thank you so much! Yes I've been filing my weekly claims this whole time. This is SUCH a relief! I've been stressing about paying rent.

It most likely means you're approved, but technically you're not 100% confirmed until you actually receive a payment. The dashboard showing your weekly benefit amount and zero issues is usually a very good sign, though. Keep filing your weekly claims and make sure you're completing your work search activities. In rare cases, there could still be verification or processing steps happening behind the scenes.

•Thanks for the info! I've definitely been doing my work search activities each week (applying to jobs online mostly). I guess I'll just keep checking my Money Network card balance until something shows up.

•Oh no, really? That's what I'm afraid of. Did they tell you what the issue was?

I work at a career center and see this all the time. This is good news - when your dashboard shows your Weekly Benefit Amount (WBA) and zero issues, it means your claim has been processed and approved. You should receive your first payment within 5-7 business days. If you've been filing weekly claims during your waiting period, you'll receive payments for all eligible weeks at once. Make sure your Money Network card is activated! Many people forget that step and then wonder why they're not seeing funds.

•this is NOT always true. my wba showed up and then they stopped my claim for income verification again even tho i already sent all that stuff in. took another 6 weeks to fix and i almost got evicted!!

Has anyone tried using Claimyr to get through to PA UC agents? When I had issues with my claim showing the benefit amount but no payment, I used their service and actually got through to a live person in about 15 minutes. They explained exactly what was happening with my claim and fixed the issue while I was on the phone. There's a video showing how it works here: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 and their website is claimyr.com. I was desperate after trying for 2 weeks to get through on my own with nothing but busy signals.

•I might try this if my payment doesn't show up in the next few days. Thanks for the tip!

So lemme get this straight... your UC dashboard shows your benefit amount BUT you havnt actually received a PAYMENT yet? If thats the case then NO your not approved yet. My sister had all that and then got denied. PA UC is so messed up they will show you all kinds of stuff and then change their mind. You aint approved till you see $$$ in your account!!!!!!

•This is incorrect information. When the Weekly Benefit Amount is calculated and displayed with zero issues, the initial claim processing is complete. While there can occasionally be subsequent issues that arise, in the vast majority of cases this means the claim has been approved. The payment processing is a separate step that typically takes 2-4 business days after approval.

•Great news! Remember that PA requires at least one work search activity per week. And don't forget to report any earnings if you work part-time - even a single hour needs to be reported on your weekly claim.

•Congratulations! This is such great news - I'm so glad it worked out for you! Getting 3 weeks of backpay at once must have been a huge relief. Thanks for updating us with the good news, it gives the rest of us hope when we're dealing with similar situations with PA UC.

Congrats on getting your payment! This gives me hope - I'm in a similar situation where my dashboard just switched to showing my weekly benefit amount with zero issues after being stuck on "open issue" for over a month. Still no payment yet but sounds like I should see something in the next few days. Did you get any notification when the payment was processed or did it just show up on your card?

•I didn't get any notification - the money just appeared on my Money Network card when I checked the balance that morning! I had been checking it obsessively every day lol. You should definitely see something soon if your dashboard is showing the same thing mine was. The waiting is the worst part but it sounds like you're almost there!
