PA UC claim showing payment amount after review complete - am I approved now?

Hey everyone, I've been checking my PA unemployment dashboard obsessively for weeks and finally saw a change today! My status bar suddenly moved to the top and now says "claim review complete" with zero issues. The best part is there's actually a dollar amount showing in the payment section for my weekly claims now! This feels like good news but I've been burned before lol. Does this mean I'm officially approved? How soon should I expect to see money on my Money Network card? I'm trying not to get too excited but really need this to come through!

Omg thank you! That's such a relief. I've been living on ramen for 3 weeks waiting for this to clear up!

It depends. Sometimes they show payment amounts but then you still get disqualified for something. Did you get an actual determination letter in your dashboard messages? That's the ONLY way to be 100% sure.

Oh crap, now I'm worried again. I don't see any determination letter in my messages. Where exactly would it show up?

Yes, you are approved. When your status changes to "claim review complete" with zero issues AND there's a payment amount showing, that means your claim has been processed and approved. The payment is typically issued within 2-3 business days to your Money Network card. Make sure your card is activated if you haven't done so already. Also check your dashboard messages as sometimes they send an official determination notice there, but the payment amount appearing is definitely a good sign. Congratulations!

Thank you so much for explaining! I activated my card when it arrived but haven't used it yet. I'll watch for the deposit over the next few days.

I HAD THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN LAST MONTH AND GUESS WHAT??? Three days later they reversed it and put me back in "pending" status for another TWO WEEKS with some BS about employment verification. PA UC is HORRIBLE! Don't celebrate until the money is actually on your card!!!

That's unfortunate, but it's not the typical experience. Most claimants who see payment amounts after claim review complete do receive their payments without further issues. It sounds like your case had a specific verification problem that triggered additional review.

After struggling with PA unemployment for months, I finally got through to an agent who fixed my claim using Claimyr. It's a service that connects you to UC agents without waiting on hold for hours. I was skeptical but desperate after getting nothing but busy signals for weeks. You can check it out at claimyr.com and see how it works in this video: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 The agent I spoke with explained that seeing the payment amount means you're approved, but there can still be a 2-3 day processing time before the funds hit your card.

It worked for me! I was super skeptical too but after trying for weeks I was desperate. They got me through to a real person in about 30 minutes. The agent was able to check my claim and fix the issue right away.

When your claim status shows "claim review complete" with no issues AND displays a payment amount, it generally means you've been approved. However, there are a few important things to understand about the payment timeline: 1. The payment will typically take 2-3 business days to process after it shows up in your portal 2. First payments often take a bit longer than subsequent ones 3. If you selected direct deposit, it'll go to your bank account, not your Money Network card 4. Make sure you continue filing your weekly claims during this time Also, keep an eye on your dashboard messages for any official determination notices. Some people receive these a day or two after seeing the payment amount appear.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I chose the Money Network card option since I didn't want any issues with my bank account. I'll definitely keep filing my weekly claims. Just submitted one yesterday actually.

my nephew had the exact same thing happen last month. it said payment for like $572 then nothing happened for a week and he called and they said there was some problem with his last employer not responding to something. he had to wait another 2 weeks before getting paid. so maybe call just to double check?

That's why it's so important to follow up. If the payment doesn't post to the Money Network card within 4-5 business days, definitely call to check on the status. Sometimes there are issues that don't immediately show up in the portal.

UPDATE: You guys were right! I just checked my Money Network card and the money is there!!! It took exactly 3 business days after I saw the payment amount in my portal. I'm so relieved. Thanks everyone for your help and advice!

Great news! Make sure you continue filing your weekly claims on time to keep the payments coming. Sunday or Monday is usually best to avoid processing delays.

Congrats on getting your payment! This is such great news to see. I'm currently in a similar situation - my claim review just finished yesterday and I can see a payment amount showing up, but no money on my card yet. Reading through everyone's experiences here is really helpful. It sounds like 2-3 business days is pretty standard, so I'll try to be patient. Thanks for sharing your update and letting us know the timeline worked out!
