PA UC payment delays with Chime - will deposits hit accounts today?

Quick question for anyone using Chime for their PA unemployment payments. My payment shows as 'issued' in the system since yesterday but hasn't hit my Chime account yet. Usually I get it at least a day earlier than traditional banks. Anyone else with Chime think we're getting paid today? The UC website says payment was processed but nothing in my account. Getting worried since rent is coming up fast.

How long have you been waiting? Mine shows processed since Monday afternoon.

I don't use Chime but there's definitely been weird delays with PA UC payments this week. My sister uses Chime and she said her payment was 2 days later than normal this time. Maybe there's something going on with the system? Did u try calling the UC service center?

Been trying to call since yesterday morning but keep getting the busy signal. Tried 15+ times. This is so stressful.

This happens sometimes with PA UC and Chime. If your payment status shows 'issued' in the system, it should hit your account within 2-3 business days. There are occasional processing delays, especially near the end of the month or around holidays. I'd recommend checking if there are any holidays or system maintenance periods that might be causing the delay. If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow, then you might want to contact UC.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize end of month could cause delays too. Just nervous because I've never had to wait this long before.

My cousin works at the PA treasury and said theres always payment backlogs at month end. Chime is usually fast but the money has to get sent from PA first!! U prob get it tomorrow. Dont worry

I had this EXACT same issue last week! Payment was 'issued' on Tuesday but didn't hit my Chime until FRIDAY!! Called the UC service center multiple times but couldn't get through - just busy signals and hangups. So frustrating! The system is such a joke sometimes. Mine finally came through but was stressing the whole time.

Friday?! That's so long! Did they give you any explanation when it finally arrived?

Nope, no explanation at all. Just suddenly appeared in my account. The PA UC system is so broken it's unbelievable. Nobody ever explains anything!!

If you need to reach someone at PA UC to check on your payment status, I'd recommend using Claimyr to get through to an agent. I was in the same situation last month - payment stuck in issued status for days and couldn't get through on the phone. Used their service at claimyr.com and got connected to a UC rep in about 20 minutes who confirmed my payment was still processing. They have a video demo at https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 showing how it works. Definitely less stressful than constantly redialing.

Thanks! I might try that if it doesn't come through by tomorrow. Has anyone else used this service?

Just checked my Chime and my UC payment just hit my account! Anyone else get theirs? It was about 6 hours later than normal but at least it came through today. Check your accounts!

Glad to hear your payments came through! For future reference, there's a PA Treasury payment calendar on the UC website that shows processing dates. End-of-month delays are common because of the high volume of payments being processed. It's always good to check that calendar if you notice your payment is taking longer than usual.

I had no idea about that calendar. Is it easy to find on the site? I'll definitely check it out next time instead of panicking.

It's under the 'Payment Information' section of the UC website. Look for 'Payment Calendar' or 'Treasury Schedule'. It shows processing times for direct deposits, paper checks, and debit card transfers. Very helpful for planning!
