PA UC deposit timing for Chime users - anyone get paid today?
Been checking my Chime account all morning and still no PA unemployment deposit. Usually hits my account by 10am on Tuesdays but it's past noon now. System shows my weekly claim was processed but no $$ yet. Anyone else with Chime get their PA UC payment today? Starting to get nervous since rent is due Friday and my landlord isn't exactly the understanding type. This is my 6th week on unemployment and first time having a delay.

Got mine at 6am today. Chime always comes thru early for me, sometimes even Monday night. Check ur payment status on the UC portal to see if it actually processed?

If your portal shows 'payment issued' that's good news - the money is definitely on the way. Chime deposit timing can vary based on when PA UC releases the batch payments. I've seen delays up to 24 hours occasionally, especially near holidays or at month-end when volume is higher. If your payment doesn't arrive by tomorrow morning, call PA UC to verify there are no holds on your account. One thing to check - make sure your direct deposit info hasn't changed and that there are no Chime account issues (check if they sent you any notifications about verification needed).

mine hasnt hit yet either and i also have chime!!! usually gets deposited by 9:30am but nothing today. getting worried cuz my car payment is automatic tomorrow!!!

•This happened to me last month - turned out there was a system-wide delay with PA Treasury processing payments. All deposits were delayed by about 8-10 hours. I'd suggest checking the PA UC Facebook page, they sometimes post announcements about payment delays there. If you're really in a bind with that car payment, you might need to call your lender and explain the situation.

I've noticed that lately PA UC payments are being processed in batches with some delays. The Treasury Department is handling a huge volume of payments this month. If your payment status shows as 'issued' in the portal, you're good - it's just a matter of when it arrives. DONT TRUST THE PORTAL!!! mine said "payment issued" for 2 WEEKS and nothing ever came!!! had to call 164 times to get through and they said there was a "system flag" whatever that means!!! the lady fixed it but i almost got EVICTED waiting!!! PA UC is BROKEN!!!

•That's not typical though - most of the time when it says payment issued, it actually has been issued. Your case sounds like an exception that required manual intervention. I work in financial services (not for UC) and can tell you that batch payment processes occasionally flag individual transactions for various reasons. What likely happened is your payment got caught in an automated fraud detection system. It's annoying but technically working as designed - these systems prevent a lot of actual fraud.

UPDATE: My payment just hit my Chime account at 2:45pm! About 5 hours later than usual but it came through. Thanks everyone for the reassurance. Seems like there might have been a processing delay with this batch of payments.

For anyone using Chime or other online banks with PA unemployment payments, I'd recommend always keeping a small buffer in your account if possible. I've seen these payment timing issues happen a few times in the past year. The UC system officially says to allow 2-3 business days for payments to appear after they're issued, even though they're usually faster with online banks. Having even a small cushion can help with peace of mind when these delays happen.

when i was getting PA UC last winter my Chime deposits always came at weird times... sometimes 6am sometimes 4pm... i started writing down the times and there was no pattern at all lol. your money will come but PA treasury department does whatever they want whenever they want
