When will PA UC Money Network deposit hit bank accounts today? CHIME early deposit question
Anyone know what time the PA unemployment payments hit CHIME accounts today? I usually get my UC payment 2 days early with CHIME and it normally comes around 10am but nothing's shown up yet. Getting kinda worried because rent is due tomorrow and I really need this payment to clear. Has anyone with CHIME gotten their UC deposit today? Are they running late this week?

I have Chime too and my payment just hit about 20 minutes ago (around 11:45am). They seem to be running a bit behind schedule today. Usually mine posts by 9:30am when I get the early deposit. Give it another hour or so before panicking!

•Thanks for letting me know! I'll keep checking my account. Did you file your weekly claim on Sunday or Monday? I filed mine Monday morning so maybe that's why mine is taking longer?

CHIME SUCKS with unemployment deposits!!!! I switched to them cause they advertised "get paid 2 days early" but every week its different times and sometimes they hold it until the next day anyway. I've NEVER gotten a consistant deposit time with them for my UC. My friend with Current bank gets hers at EXACTLY the same time every week. Thinking about switching banks tbh.

•It's not really Chime's fault - they release the funds as soon as they receive the payment notification from PA Treasury. The inconsistency comes from when the state processes the batch payments. PA UC doesn't send all payments at the exact same time each week, they process them in batches based on your claim ID number ranges.

For everyone waiting on payments today - I just checked the PA Treasury website and they're showing a slight processing delay affecting some direct deposits. Should all be cleared by end of day according to the alert. The early deposit feature with banks like Chime can be confusing because it's not really "early" in a consistent way - it just means they don't hold the funds when they get the payment notification. But PA UC still has to process and send the payments on their end first.

•Thanks for checking! That makes me feel better. Where on the treasury website did you see that alert? I wanna keep an eye on it for future reference.

•It's on the PA Treasury payment status page. Not many people know about this, but you can check payment batch processing at https://www.patreasury.gov/payment-status (then select "Unemployment Compensation"). It's actually more reliable than calling UC directly for payment info.

•Just got mine too! What a relief. Hate how stressful this is every week.

I know this is kinda off topic but has anyone else had issues with the Money Network card instead of direct deposit? My UC payments used to go on that card but I've been trying to switch to direct deposit for 2 months. I keep updating my bank info online but it still goes to the card every week!

•I had this EXACT problem! The system kept ignoring my direct deposit info. I was going crazy trying to get through to someone at UC to fix it. I finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through to an actual PA UC agent after weeks of busy signals. They have this service where they connect you with the UC phone line - you can see how it works in their video demo: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2. The UC rep told me there was a glitch in the system and had to manually override my payment method. Fixed now and my direct deposits work properly.

Quick tip for everyone using CHIME or similar banks with PA unemployment: The "2 days early" feature is based on when the bank receives the payment notification from PA Treasury, not a guaranteed early timeline. PA UC typically processes payments in batches throughout the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (for claims filed Sun-Mon). There's no set time that CHIME or any bank will receive these - it depends on which batch your claim is processed in. This varies week to week based on claim volume and processing capacity. Hope this helps explain why the timing fluctuates!

•That makes a lot of sense, thanks for explaining! I wish they'd make this clearer somewhere on the UC website.

Just got off the phone with CHIME (waited 40 mins to talk to someone btw) and they said they haven't received ANY notification from PA Treasury for my account yet so now I'm really confused. How can some people get payments and others not?? Isnt that like illegal or something for the state to not pay everyone the same day?

•It's completely normal and legal. PA processes around 100,000+ claims each week and they do it in batches throughout the day/week. Your social security number's last 4 digits often determine which batch you're in. Some batches go out Tuesday, others Wednesday, and sometimes even Thursday for special circumstances. As long as you get paid within the week, they're fulfilling their obligation. They never guaranteed everyone gets paid at the exact same time.
