Will NY unemployment benefits arrive Tuesday if I certify late on Sunday?

As long as you certified before midnight on Sunday, you should still get paid on Tuesday. The system processes all Sunday certifications overnight regardless of what time you submitted it. I've certified as late as 11:55pm and still got paid on time.

Payments are typically released on Monday (bank holidays can affect this) 3. Most banks show the deposit on Tuesday If you certified successfully (got a confirmation number), you should be fine. Check your payment history on the NY unemployment website tomorrow to see if it shows as "Released" - that's the most reliable indicator.
