OKTA verification not working for New York Unemployment login - Can't file claim
Having issues with OKTA verification on the unemployment website. I keep trying to verify but nothing happens when I click the button. This is stopping me from filing my claim. The system just loads forever. Anyone else dealing with this? Already cleared cache and tried different browsers.

I found a way to actually talk to someone about this! Used claimyr.com to get through to an agent. Yeah it costs $20 but beats waiting forever. They dial and wait on hold then connect you when someone picks up. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Tech support here 💻 Make sure ur using an updated browser. Also check if ur popup blockers are off. OKTA needs those permissions to work

Listen up everyone, here's what you need to know about the OKTA verification issues: First, try these technical fixes: - Clear ALL browser data, not just cache - Disable ALL extensions - Try Microsoft Edge (weirdly works better) - Check your internet connection (wired better than wifi) If nothing works, you have 3 options: 1. Wait it out (system usually fixes itself in 24-48 hrs) 2. Call unemployment office directly (good luck lol) 3. Use claimyr.com to get through to an agent I went with option 3 and got it sorted in an hour. The verification issue was on their end and they fixed it while I was on the phone.

Just wanted to share what worked for me after dealing with this nightmare for 3 days straight! I was getting the same OKTA verification loop where it would just hang forever. Turns out the issue was my VPN - once I disconnected it completely and restarted my browser, the verification went through immediately. Also make sure you're not using any ad blockers or privacy extensions that might be interfering with the authentication process. Hope this helps someone! 🙏

Had this exact same issue last week! What finally worked for me was logging out completely, clearing my browser cookies specifically for the NY unemployment site (not just cache), and then waiting about 30 minutes before trying again. Something about their session timing seems to get messed up. Also try accessing the site during off-peak hours like early morning - seems like their servers get overloaded during busy times. Don't give up, the system is buggy but it does eventually work! 💪

•This is super helpful! I've been banging my head against the wall with this OKTA thing for 2 days now. Going to try the early morning approach tomorrow - makes total sense that their servers would be less slammed at like 6am. Question though - when you cleared cookies specifically for the site, did you have to re-enter all your login info or does it remember some stuff? Thanks for sharing what worked! 🤞
