New York Unemployment claim stuck pending since June - Can't reach anyone - Facing eviction

Same boat here, been pending since July. The phone lines are a complete joke, I've tried calling 50+ times a day and nothing. This system is totally broken 🤬

Here's what worked for me to get my pending claim fixed: First, try calling exactly at 8:00 AM when they open. Like literally start dialing at 7:59. If that doesn't work, use claimyr.com - they'll wait on hold for you. Worth the $20. Make sure you have ALL your documents ready: - ID - Social security card - Past pay stubs - Any correspondence they sent you Once you get through, be super nice to the agent. They can usually fix pending issues pretty quick if you have everything ready. Don't give up! The system sucks but you gotta keep pushing 💪

email your state representative!! they can sometimes help push claims through. google your district rep and blow up their inbox

anyone else notice how they make it impossible to reach them but expect us to respond to their requests within like 48 hours or we get denied? make it make sense 🤔

try hitting 9 instead of 1 at the first menu, then 2, then 5. sometimes this gets u to a different queue thats shorter
