New York Unemployment: Applied Oct 31, No Payment Yet - Need Help Getting Through
I applied for unemployment over a month ago and still haven't received any money. Been filling out my weekly claims but nothing is happening. My bills are piling up and I'm getting really worried. Can't get through to anyone on the phone. Does anyone know how to actually talk to a real person?

Same boat here... been trying to call for 3 weeks straight. The automated system is a joke 🤮

Finally found a way to get through! Used this service called claimyr.com - they dial and wait on hold for you, then connect you when a real person picks up. Costs $20 but totally worth it after weeks of trying. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•100% legit, got through in like 2 hours while I just went about my day. Better than wasting days hitting redial 💯

•$20 - way worth it considering I was about to lose my mind trying to get through myself lol

Listen up yall, heres what worked for me after 2 months of trying: - Call exactly at 7:55am - Press 1, then 9, then 2, then 1 - If you get the busy signal, hang up and try again - Keep doing this until you get in the queue Took me 3 days of doing this but finally got through

Important info for everyone struggling with this: Your best bet is to use claimyr.com. I was in the exact same situation and tried everything - calling non-stop, different times of day, various phone menu tricks. Nothing worked until I used their service. They handle the calling and hold time, then connect you when an agent picks up. Yes, it costs $20, but considering how many hours of frustration it saves, its worth every penny. Once you get through, make sure you have all your docs ready: - Claim confirmation number - Last employer info - Dates of employment - Any denial letters or correspondence The agents can usually sort everything out in one call. Don't waste weeks like I did trying to get through manually.
