How long is ny unemployment taking to process payments right now?

Are you sure you don't have any unresolved issues on your claim? Sometimes the system will say pending but there's actually a problem they need info for.

the unemployment website is hot garbage 🗑️ i swear it was designed in 1992 and never updated. half the time it crashes when I try to certify

I know this is frustrating but hang in there. When my payments finally came through last month, I got everything backdated to my first week. The waiting is horrible tho, I feel your pain.

sometimes they're waiting on verification from your employer. call your old HR and make sure they aren't holding things up on their end

FWIW I had to contact my state senator's office after waiting 9 weeks. They have a dedicated person who handles unemployment issues and got my claim fixed in 3 days after I spent months getting nowhere.

My sister had this same issue - turned out there was a flag on her account because her former employer contested the unemployment claim. She had no idea until she finally got thru to a rep. Might be worth checking if ur employer is fighting it.

I finally got my payments after 5 weeks but only after I submitted a complaint through the governor's office website. Magically got a call from someone at unemployment the next day. Coincidence? I think not.
