New York Unemployment: No contact after 6 weeks - no phone call or mail
Filed for unemployment benefits 6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. No phone calls, no mail, nothing. I check my account online but it just says pending. Starting to get really worried since rent is coming up. Anyone know how to actually talk to someone?

Been calling that number for 3 weeks straight and nothing. Always get the automated message saying high call volume then it hangs up on me 🤮 this system is completely broken

Listen up fam, here's what worked for me after being stuck for 2 months: 1. Make sure your online account is fully completed with ALL info 2. Upload any requested docs asap 3. Check your spam folder daily 4. Use claimyr.com to get through on the phone (seriously worth the $20) 5. Have all your employment info ready when you talk to them Don't give up, the system sucks but you'll get through eventually 💯
