New York Unemployment: Weekly certification says no claim exists with my SSN after successfully certifying last week
Was certifying my weekly benefits through the phone system. Got through all the steps but then the automated system said there's no claim with my social security number. I certified fine last week with no problems. Anyone else having this issue? Getting really worried since I need these benefits.

Same exact thing happened to me yesterday! The website keeps giving me an error too. This is so frustrating cause rent is due next week 😤

I had this problem too but found a way to actually talk to someone. Used this site claimyr.com that calls and waits on hold, then connects you when an agent picks up. Costs $20 but totally worth it cause they fixed my claim in 10 mins. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Its probably a system glitch. They've been doing maintenance lately and messing everything up smh

Here's what you need to do step by step: First, try certifying on the website instead of phone. If that doesn't work, screenshot any errors. Check your email for any notices from unemployment office - sometimes they freeze claims for identity verification. If you can't resolve it online, you NEED to speak with an agent. Best way I found is using claimyr.com - they'll wait on hold and connect you to an agent. Make sure you have your claim info ready: - Last employer details - Dates you've certified - Any correspondence you've received Don't wait on this - the longer you do, the more complicated it gets to fix back payments. Good luck! 🙏

Took me 3 weeks to fix this exact issue. Had to keep calling until someone fixed it on their end. Their system is a joke
